Mr. Magic will lecture for IBM Rings and Magic Clubs. Below is a review of his Southern Tryied Magic lecture for the Hilton Head Island Ring 349. Geoge Jones Lecture George "Mr Magic" Jones Lecture on July 11, 2005 at IBM Ring 349 on Hilton Head Island George's vesatile creativity hilighted many of his own hand made effects which brought delight and awe to the eleven members and seven guests who attended. he also detailed improvements on standard classics. The first offerings were the ever lasting rising cards from a card case. Two chosen cards deceptively rose from a deck of cards in the case with ease. Then he proceeded with a very clever handlng of a color changing deck with his added touch. A tricky three card Monte where the Ace changed to the money card which turned to cash in a flash. There were several good mental magic routines including a selected card appearing behind the spectator's Zodiac Sign on a laminated card. A number was written on a card, inserted face down in an envelope taped to a clip board, but was still discerned by the psychic! Excellent! The Patriotic Pompoms was a topical theme, where three same colored pompoms were separated in three cups, to reassemble as red/white/blue in each cup. Easy handling and colorful. A prediction in a goblet proved to be the spectator's card, and two half cards chosen by random numbers were shown to match. George had his own improvements on "Cards on Ribbon", Pencil thru a bill, and a rope loop that visually developed 4 knots. All effects were clearly explained.
